PARAGRAPH WRITING SAMPLE 9: WHAT ARE THE REASONS FOR TRAFFIC JAM IN BIG CITIES?

      When people live in a big city they have to deal with the traffic issue for several reasons. The first reason is that the people who live in big cities become careless drivers on roads. They often disobey traffic rules so they sometimes cause accidents. For example, on their way to work, drivers always quarrel with other drivers in the traffic which cause a bigger traffic jam. In other words, the drivers who disobey traffic rules are one of the main reasons for traffic in big cities. The second reason is the number of people who live in big cities. Since there are a lot of people living in big cities, there are a large number of cars and most importantly, the number of cars is increasing day by day. Finally, the number of roads is insufficient in big cities. Since the number of cars is a lot, insufficient roads are always stuck with cars. Also, there is always construction on roads. For example, in İstanbul, when people drive in the traffic, they usually have to deal with road constructions which make their life more difficult. In conclusion, because of overpopulation, careless drivers and insufficient roads, the traffic issue is always serious in big cities.
